En opera som rör sig runt det hemliga, outtalade och gömda, och ifall en ska inkludera eller exkludera. Temat återfinns i flera olika nivåer av handlingen, varierandes från det fragmentariska librettot, signalsystemet mellan musiker och sångare, till placeringen av publiken. Centralt i verket är scenens positionering, med publiken som sitter mittemot varandra och koreografin där dansaren, musikerna och sångaren omger publiken.

An opera which revolves around the secret, unspoken and hidden, and whether to include or exclude. The theme is found in several levels of the play, ranging from the fragmentary libretto, system of signs between musician and singer, to the placement of the audience. Central in the work is the position of the stage with the audience facing each other and the choreography of the dancer, musicians and singer surrounding the audience.
